Iran reportedly launched missile strikes on Monday targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar and Iraq. The attack came in retaliation for the weekend U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Residents in Doha, the capital of Qatar, reported seeing missiles streak across the sky, with local air defenses intercepting at least one. Iran’s state television confirmed the attack on U.S. forces stationed at Al Udeid Air Base, describing the strike as “a mighty and successful response to America’s aggression.” Al Udeid Air Base hosts the forward headquarters of the U.S. military’s Central Command. Tens of thousands of American troops are stationed across the…
Supreme Court Grants US Terror Victims Right to Sue Palestinian Groups for ‘Pay-for-Slay’ Policies
Victims of terrorism have been granted the right to sue Palestinian organizations in U.S. courts, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Friday. The justices ruled 9-0 in favor of upholding the constitutionality of the Promoting Security and Justice for Victims of Terrorism Act of 2019. As CBN News reported, the law passed by Congress says organizations like the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) are consenting to U.S. jurisdiction if they conduct activities in the U.S. or pay people who attack Americans abroad. Plaintiffs in the case included a 7-year-old boy who suffered shrapnel wounds to his…

Police are praising the heroics of the church staff in preventing a potential mass shooting at a Detroit-area church on Sunday. A bigger tragedy was avoided on Sunday when a man was killed by church security after opening fire outside the building. CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, was holding a special vacation Bible school service when the gunman began shooting. Ring-camera video near the church captured what seems to be multiple rounds of gunfire. Police say the gunman was driving recklessly near the church, then got out of his vehicle wearing a tactical vest and carrying a rifle and a…
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed into law a bill passed earlier this month by the state legislature requiring the Ten Commandments to be displayed in all of the state’s public school classrooms. Meanwhile, a federal appeals court declared a similar Louisiana law unconstitutional. Abbott announced he had signed the bill on Saturday. It makes Texas the largest state to enact such a law. The bill, known as SB10, was sponsored by State Sen. Phil King (R-Weatherford) and requires every classroom to visibly display a poster that’s at least 16 by 20 inches featuring a specific version of the Ten…
A California pastor is getting candid about why he almost quit ministry, shedding light on struggles preachers routinely face. Shane Idleman of Westside Christian Fellowship in Leona Valley, California, is out with a new book, “I Almost Quit: My Journey of Leading Through the Landmines of Ministry,” a text detailing the factors that almost drove him away from the pulpit. Idleman said he had gone through a “hard season” in recent years that presented difficult challenges — a time of chaos that started with COVID-19 chaos and lockdowns, his mom’s death, health issues, and extended into other realms. After nearly…
U.S. Border Patrol agents have exposed a highly sophisticated smuggling tunnel stretching from a residential neighborhood in Tijuana, Mexico, to a commercial warehouse area in Otay Mesa, San Diego. The tunnel, which extends more than 1,000 feet into the United States and nearly 3,000 feet in total length, was found during a routine inspection by the San Diego Sector Tunnel Team. Agents discovered the tunnel, which was not quite completed, beneath the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, one of the busiest commercial border crossings in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) authorities say the tunnel featured advanced infrastructure, including…

In fact, we…
One college-level football coach’s claim of a clandestine plot to fire him might sound like the beginning of a movie, but, for Nick Rolovich, it was allegedly his lived experience. In fact, the purported internal plan was so inculcated at Washington State University, it was dubbed the “Rolo strategy,” according to Becket attorney Joe Davis, who is representing Rolovich in his legal quest against university officials he believes violated his constitutional rights to religious freedom. “They were implementing something that they called internally the ‘Rolo strategy,’” Davis told CBN News of high-level executives at WSU. “[T]hey questioned [Rolovich’s] character because…
